History Geneglace
The Geneglace historical developments have been varied ; they have helped strengthen the brand Geneglace which is now known and recognized all over the world.
1978: Creation of the subsidiary FRIGOFRANCE based Bouguenais (44340). One department is manufacturing flake ice machines with the brand name GENEGLACE.
1987-1999: After being bought by the Dutch group Grasso specializing in Refrigeration, Frigofrance belongs to the German GEA Group.
1st January 2003: Creation of new subsidiaries. GENEGLACE sas society is created.
1st March 2004: Moving to a new factory based Les Sorinières (44840).
1st July 2008: New name : GEA Geneglace sas.
16th June 2011 : merger with GEA Refrigeration France S.A.S - The Geneglace Ice Technology Centre is created inside GEA Refrigeration France S.A.S.
