From 27 to 30 March 2012, the who-is-who of the refrigeration- and air-conditioning industry is meeting for the 38. edition of Mostra Convegno in Milan. GEA Refrigeration Technologies will present established products and new solutions for energy efficiency and natural refrigerants.
In the focus of this year’s biennial fair are the topics energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability as well as the increasingly important subject of product counterfeiting.
Sustainable refrigeration technology is in the focus of all product developments at GEA Refrigeration Technologies for many years. Since the beginning of the 1990‘s, GEA Bock, together with leading institutes and manufacturers, has concerned itself with the development of compressors for the transcritical CO₂ process. At Mostra Convegno, GEA Refrigeration Technologies presents its broad range of Bock CO₂ compressors for subcritical and transcritial application areas.
For various applications, such as the field of supermarket refrigeration, also hydrocarbons have established as another natural alternative besides CO₂.
This development is also a focus at GEA Refrigeration Technologies and so we offer on the basis of the current Bock semi-hermetic compressor program with its advantages and features an inexpensive compressor variant especially for the use with hydrocarbons.
The presented compressors in HC-design have the following features:
- Heat protection thermostat as standard
- Oil sump heater as standard
- Special oil charge (Bock S68)
- Motor protection MP10 for installation in the switch cabinet
With the Electronic Frequency Control System (EFC, EFCe systems) GEA Refrigeration Technologies offers continuously variable speed control using frequency converter technology. With the most efficient means of adapting the capacity of the compressor to current refrigeration plant requirements an energy saving potential of 25% and more is possible.
In December 2009, the Bock EFC system also received the BMU “Climate Protection Innovation Award in Refrigeration Technology” from the German Ministry for the Environment.
We are looking forward to your visit in hall 24, booth A21-B22!
